Sourdough Baking Basics (Washington State)

Are you interested in baking with sourdough, but not sure where to start? This 3-day immersion in all things sourdough is for you. We’ll guide you through the process of starting and maintaining a healthy sourdough starter, and then use it to leaven and flavor a wide variety of baked goods. We’ll show you ways to use up extra starter to help reduce waste. You'll go home with a bounty of baked goods, including a loaf bread, artisan bread, crackers, and even some delectable sweets. Let us demystify this wild yeast and start you on the path to a lifelong journey of sourdough baking.
